International Film and Arts Festival with the provisional name "International Film and Arts Festival of the Old Town of Nafplio", is expected to take place from November 12, 2024 to November 17, 2024, in Nafplio.
At a recent meeting, the Nafplion Municipal Council unanimously approved the concession of the Triannon Hall for the International Film and Arts Festival to be held from 12 November 2024 until 17 November 2024.
Specifically, in this festival, Mrs. Vasiliki Pezyris, member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Greek Filmmakers, plans: a) The inclusion of two morning screening packages of selected short films of 45 minutes each for children and young people in cooperation with the International Festival of Olympia with screening times of 11: 00-11:45 and 12:00-12:45 b) The screening of 30 short films from 26 different countries c) The screening of award-winning Greek short films d) The screening of four feature films (1 from international production and 3 from contemporary Greek Cinema) and e) The open discussion on the topic: "Contemporary Greek Cinema". The festival will be held under the auspices of the Municipality of Nafplion.
