Built on the west coast of the Argolic Gulf, across Nauplio, the holiday village is ideal for a quiet vacation. It has all kinds of facilities and two beautiful pebbled beaches. It also has a little harbour with fishing boats and a small suspension bridge.
What is surprising is its important history. As we read in Argolic Library: According to myth, this place is associated with Hercules and the Lernaean Hydra. This is where Danaos with his daughters disembarked, when he came to become king of Argos. Its geographical location made Kiveri a strategic point from Antiquity up to modern times. It is one of the villages in Argolis, with a long history, starting in the mythological and Prehistoric era, appearing in ancient times, still present in the Byzantine era, during the Frankish and Venetian Occupation in the Peloponnese and in Argolis. It also played an important role during the Ottoman Occupation and the Greek Revolution of 1821.
