"Carnival tricks" full of joy and optimism

The program includes Venetian events, a big carnival parade, a carnival dance and kite flying.

Anapliotiko Carnival, reborn from Venetian events and Comedia Del' Arte, meets this year with images of everyday life, which it satirizes and expresses joy and optimism, creating Carnavaloblexima. Through the Anapliotica Carnival Brawls, the organisers bring to the surface the positive emotions of residents and visitors alike.

This year's renewed program is based on a new logic of strengthening all events, both in Nafplio and in the periphery of the Municipality, with special emphasis on the opening and the last two three days with impressive events, which are expected to attract the interest of locals and visitors.

The events start on Sunday 9 February 2025 and will culminate on the first weekend of March and on Clean Monday, with the Venetian events, the big Carnival parade, the carnival and the kite competition.

In the Municipality of Nafplion, the city of Nafplion is a natural setting to wander around, get close to other people, have fun in every alley, join the Dominoes team, play with them and take part in the Carnival parade.
